Reno-Tahoe Airport Levels Up

Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is getting a major upgrade — part of its “MoreRNO” modernization plan.

A brand-new $299 million Ground Transportation Center is breaking ground, bringing rental cars, rideshares, taxis, and shuttles under one roof for smoother arrivals and departures.

At the same time, RNO is preparing a complete terminal rebuild, replacing the old concourses with bright, spacious new ones featuring more gates, family-friendly spaces, and mountain views.

These projects are designed to keep pace with northern Nevada’s growth — improving the traveler experience while fueling jobs and economic impact across the region.

Construction will happen in phases so the airport stays open throughout, and best of all, much of the work is funded without added taxpayer cost.

Reno-Tahoe is gearing up for the future — and the travel experience here is about to get a whole lot better.
